Darwin Rail Trail

Following the route taken out of Darwin by the narrow gauge railway line built in 1888 but which was never completed through to its intended destination of Adelaide.

You may not make it that far either, but this is still a pleasant, relaxing ride through to Howard Springs

This trail has two sections, this one here in Darwin and the Katherine Rail Trail, a shorter section of the same railway line in Katherine, some 320 kilometres south.
