Wamuran Loop Trail

Stop and enjoy fantastic views over the Glasshouse Mountains around the 15km point

There are a number of places where you could start this ride, but preferring an easy start and an opportunity to get into the ride, I have commenced this route in a clockwise direction on Raaen Road, Bracalba so that the first ten kilometres or so are either flat or gently downhill.

From there, on R Wiliams Road as you are putting Wamuran behind you, get ready for some huff-and-puff, the next four kilometres is going to get your heart pumping somewhat faster as you push towards the highest point on the ride.

Having made the ridge near Delaney’s Creek State Forest, take the time to enjoy your success with some beautiful views out over the Glasshouse Mountains before a quick, two kilometres descent. The thrill over, the last few kilometres are covered at a more leisurely pace back to your starting point.
